Among other accolades during the year, the wood-based materials manufacturer was awarded a gold medal by EcoVadis and, according to the Morningstar / Sustainalytics rating agency, is among the top 2 percent of 15,000 globally rated companies as the second-placed company in the building materials industry category.

    Bench Top City always ensure we get maximum value from the wood we use, with minimum impact on the environment. That’s why we recycle repeatedly, source responsibly, obtain recognized certifications and test product compliance rigorously. All Duropal products are made using materials and production processes which comply fully with environmental and health regulations.

  • Climates

    As a manufacturing company for Duropal, Pfleiderer is an energy intensive company. They are aware of the resulting responsibility and consider climate-relevant topics along the entire value chain.

    The first priority is to take measures to avoid or reduce climate-relevant emissions. This includes the use of renewable energies and the replacement of fossil binders. They also want to reduce our product-related climate-relevant emissions step by step and further expand our range of low-emission products.
